Why LK

The structure everything else hangs on.

Framing is the one stage where a fraction of an inch compounds into every trade that follows. We frame from the engineered drawings — floors, walls, and roof structure plumb, level, and square — and set beams and point loads exactly where they belong. Get the bones right and the siding, the finish, and the inspection all go smoothly.

What we build

  • New-build framing — single-family homes and laneway houses
  • Additions, second storeys, and structural renovations
  • Floor systems, walls, and roof structure framed to the drawings
  • Engineered beams, posts, and point loads set dead-square
  • Sheathing, strapping, and weather-readiness for the next trade
  • Permit-ready work that passes inspection the first visit

Our Process

Square. Sequenced. Solid.

01

Read the Drawings

We start from the engineered drawings, confirm the loads and layout, and sequence the build so every trade behind us has clean, square work to land on.

02

Frame Dead-Square

Floors, walls, and roof structure go up plumb, level, and square to spec — beams and point loads set exactly where the engineer drew them.

03

Inspection-Ready

We sheathe, strap, and tidy the structure for inspection, so it passes the first visit and the envelope and finish trades can move straight in.

Questions

Common Questions

Both. We frame single-family homes and laneway houses from the ground up, and we tie new additions and second storeys cleanly into existing structure — floors, walls, and roof framed to the engineered drawings.
